Gross v. Apple: Pain-Management Follow-Up Authorized

JCC granted authorization and scheduling of a return appointment with Dr. Frank at Cedar Point Surgery after the claimant showed the authorized Texas provider cancelled follow-up care because of unpaid bills.

The order found the employer/carrier accepted the low-back injury, agreed the requested return appointment was medically necessary, and had to furnish the medically necessary remedial care even though the judge lacked jurisdiction to order payment of the provider billing dispute.
