Jackson v. Pinellas Suncoast Transit: Shoulder Surgery Authorized

OJCC Case No. 23-021392JPM: JCC granted Annita C. Williams Jackson authorization for right shoulder arthroscopic debridement and decompression surgery, pre-op clearance, and related right shoulder surgery recommended by Dr. Butler.

The order found the right shoulder condition had already been established as compensable through a prior compensation order and First DCA affirmance, and the employer/carrier did not prove a break in the causal chain. The JCC also awarded costs and attorney fees for obtaining the ordered benefits.
