In George Mossad v. Hudson Group (HG) Inc./Charter Oak Fire Insurance Co. and The Travelers Indemnity Company, OJCC Case No. 25-005321NAC, Judge William Raymond Holley addressed claims arising from a December 2, 2022 right-shoulder accident, including average weekly wage, temporary disability, a one-time physician change, and pain-management care.

The JCC set the claimant’s average weekly wage at $646.62 and awarded temporary partial disability benefits for February 12 through March 3, 2024 and April 15 through April 28, 2024, subject to the statutory calculation and applicable credits. The order also awarded penalties and interest on those benefits and on underpayments caused by the AWW correction.

The order denied additional temporary total disability, the requested one-time change for the right shoulder, and right-shoulder pain-management treatment. The cervical-spine treatment claim was dismissed without prejudice under the parties’ stipulation, and the claimant was awarded attorney’s fees and taxable costs for the benefits secured.
