In George Mossad v. Hudson Group (HG) Inc./Charter Oak Fire Insurance Co. and The Travelers Indemnity Company, OJCC Case No. 25-005328WRH, Judge William R. Holley addressed temporary disability and medical claims arising from an accepted May 24, 2024 left-shoulder injury.

The JCC awarded temporary partial disability benefits from April 3, 2025 through August 27, 2026, subject to credit for benefits already paid, and temporary total disability benefits from August 28 through September 17, 2026. The order denied TTD before the surgery date and denied any duplicate recovery for periods already paid under the claimant's separate 2022 right-shoulder claim.

The JCC also enforced the stipulated average weekly wage of $646.62 and corresponding TTD rate of $431.08, requiring correction of underpayments. Pain management for the left shoulder was denied, the cervical-spine portion was dismissed without prejudice by stipulation, and penalties, interest, attorney's fees, and taxable costs were awarded as specified in the order.
