Street v. Delta Air Lines: Food-Poisoning ER Reimbursement Awarded

JCC granted reimbursement of emergency room and physician charges after finding the pro se flight attendant proved food poisoning arose during her traveling employment on a Delta flight from Cape Town to Atlanta.

The order credited the claimant testimony and medical records, found the employer/carrier had failed to appear or preserve defenses, and awarded reimbursement of the Emory Healthcare expense; jurisdiction remained reserved for any additional sanction from the prior show-cause orders.
